Our Department provides weekly citywide refuse collection and disposal for slightly less than 4000 households. Once monthly, we also provide curbside pickup of recyclable material.
One particular significance is the success of our recycling program. Hornell was the first community in Steuben County to embark upon a voluntary program of source separation and collection of recyclable materials. We now run a "No-Sort Recycling Program".
All recyclables can go in one bin for monthly collection.
